India Lockdown: MHA reveals grocery shops banks and what else to remain open
The novel coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic has already spread across 19o countries and now to control the situation, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced 21 days completely lockdown in India that is till 14 April.
Minister of Home Affairs has issued guidelines on 21 day lockdown:
All education, training research coaching institutions, private offices, places of worship, will remain closed.
Social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, religious functions or any type of gathering is banned.
In case of funerals of the corona virus patients, there will be only 20 persons allowed to fulfill the last rites.
Industrial establishments along with transport services- Air, Rail, Roadways will remain suspended except transportation for essential goods, fire, law and order and emergency services.
Commercial and private establishments will be closed down except, shops dealing with food, groceries, fruit, vegetables, dairy, milk booths, meat and fish and animal fodder.
Banks, insurance offices, and ATMs along with print and electronic media will remain open.
Telecommunications, internet services, broadcasting and cable services, and IT enabled services will be open.
Petrol pumps, LPG, petroleum and gas retail will remain open,
